1. can i suggest e cap for a thing that’s missing?

of course you can :) we are happy to help you out with your idea

2. my cap don’t fit what can i do?

it is possible that manufacturers change their design over time. reach out to us via email so we can find a good solution.

3. what does “coming soon…” mean?

we are working on a lot protoypes at the moment. as soon as a cap fit’s perfectly it will be available in the store. you can change priorities by:
- entering your email in the “get notified” tab on a product.
- if you own a capless thing, live nearby bern and you can borrow it out for about 3 weeks, reach out to us by
email. of course you will get a free bigcap and if you want some coffee with a view ;)

4. What is BIGCAP?

we are a brand owned by Bruam GmbH, based in Bern, Switzerland. Under the brand BIGCAP we design and sell caps for big lenses, flashes and other photographic and filming equipment.

5. Do you ship worldwide?

Yes - we ship globally, except to the USA, as the former administration makes it impossible for us to deal with all the shipping requirements.

6. What currencies / payment methods do you accept?

our store’s main currencie is swiss francs. however we use stripe for all payments. you can find out more about it here.

7. How much does shipping cost?

Shipping cost depends on the destination country, weight, and shipping method. You can see the shipping cost at checkout before confirming your order.

8. How long will delivery take?

we try to ship as fast as possible. but it is possible that it takes up to 30 days for sending out your order. Shipping time depends as well on your country and the shipping option chosen. find more details on our Delivery page.

9. Do you offer tracking?

no — for most shipments (under 500 Chf) we don’t provide a tracking number to reduce your shipping costs. we ship all of our orders with the swiss post service and their partners.

10. Can I return or exchange an item?

Yes — please check our Refunds & Returns page for the full policy, including time limits and conditions.

11. What about customs, duties, import taxes?

Import duties or taxes may apply in your country. These are your responsibility and not included in our prices. Customs delays are beyond our control.
